Since being honorably released as a bishop in March of 2012 he organized the first Illinois Mormon Allies contingent supporting marriage equality for the 2012 Chicago Pride Parade, has had an article about coming out as an ally in The Advocate, as well as other LGBT advocacy articles in The Peacewriter and Feminist Mormon Housewives blogs.
